Silverleaf School is a non-profit education center in Salem, Oregon. Since 2017, we have delivered dynamic and supportive STEM education opportunities to hundreds of students in grades 1-8 through our hands-on summer camps, after school programs, and classes.
Robotics Team
In addition to classes, Silverleaf offers after-school robotics clubs for elementary and middle school students. The robotics teams start meeting mid-July through February and compete in 3 to 4 tournaments per season.
There are 3 levels of robotics available depending on age and skill level:
- Elementary VEX IQ for students up to age 12
- Middle School Vex IQ for students up to age 15
- Middle School VEX V5 for students age 12 to 15
Groups meet once per week at the following times:
- Elementary VEX IQ Tuesdays 5:00 – 7:00
- Middle School VEX IQ Wednesdays 5:00 – 7:00
- Middle School VEX V5 Thursdays 5:00 – 7:00
