Come be a part of a car parade to raise awareness about child abuse prevention for Child Abuse Prevention Month this April!
Arrive at the Oregon State Fairgrounds Pavilion Parking Area entrance (on Sunnyview Road) at 7:30 a.m. to decorate your car with car paint and pinwheels. Then, be part of the parade at 8:15 a.m. as it heads toward the Salem Police Department.
A community gathering will commence at 9-9:30 a.m. inside the Salem Police Department to hear brief remarks from community partners and their role in preventing child abuse. Space is limited to 70 people, so first come, first served.
